For hot coffee

Add ground coffee and hot water. (We recommend 200° or off-boil water. Palmpress has fill lines if you're not already using a scale.)
Close and let brew 2.5 - 3 minutes.
Set the Palmpress onto the mug filter-side down and press. Enjoy!

Making hot coffee:

For cold-brewed coffee

Add ground coffee and room-temp water. (Palmpress has fill lines if you're not already using a scale. We recommend adding an extra level tablespoon of ground coffee if you plan on drinking with ice.)
Close and let brew overnight on the counter or in the fridge, ideally for 12 hours.
Set the Palmpress onto the mug filter-side down and press. Enjoy!

Making cold brew:

With Palmpress, coffee does not contact plastic or rubber - instead, it only contacts silicone and stainless steel. Additionally, Palmpress comes with a reusable stainless steel filter.

The taste is similar to brewing with a French press (stainless steel filter, fuller body).

It makes an 8oz cup.

You control variables to your liking, like coffee-to-water ratio (higher for stronger cup) and brew time.

Use any coffee you like, just have it be medium grind size. Medium grind is coarser than espresso/coffee powder and finer than French press grind. Ways to have coffee ground:

Ask the barista
Use the grocery-store machine
Buy pre-ground coffee
Get a burr grinder

Clean between each use so that coffee oils do not build up on the inside or outside of the Palmpress: Open the Palmpress, tap the grounds into the trash, then wash with warm water and dish soap.

We recommend handwashing. It is also top-rack dishwasher safe, however please avoid using harsh detergents that can impart chemical smells. If you do experience any oil build-up (common with silicone kitchen products), a popular deep-cleaning solution is to scrub with a warm-water and baking-soda paste, let sit for 45 minutes, then rinse.

Palmpress is BPA-free and phthalate-free.
The inner materials are stainless steel and LFGB-approved silicone. The outer materials are ABS plastic with TPR non-slip grip.
Coffee does not encounter plastic.

Great Little Press

The coffee it brews is excellent. I have used many different brewing systems and I believe this is the best cup of coffee I have ever made!
I compared this to the Aeropress, and although it is a little more price-wise, I believe it is worth it. It comes completely apart and cleans up fairly easily. Like all coffee presses, the grounds never fall right out, there are always some to rinse away.
Take it from a former barista, you won't be disappointed with the freshest, most flavorful cup of coffee you've ever had!

Whoever invented this is a genius!

I bought a Palm Press at a coffee expo in New York in (I think) 2019 in anticipation of a trip to Japan in 2020. Well, we all know what happened in 2020 (and 2021, and 2022) but this year I finally made the trip and I've gotta tell you, having my Palm Press was a godsend. Hotels in Japan have a kettle, but only tea and instant coffee (ugh) but with the Palm Press, we were able to have great coffee every morning.

Most importantly, it makes great coffee. Secondly, it cleans up very easily. Third, the built-in filter means no paper filters required. Fourth, no glass to break (I found this out the hard way, when a mini French press shattered in my luggage once), and Fifth, it squishes down to nothing and easily fits in a suitcase or backpack.

My partner and I use a Chemex for our morning pot of coffee, but now that I'm retired, I sometimes feel like a mid-morning cup while I read the paper or do the crossword. Before, I'd use the Nespresso, but now I just use my Palm Press. Not only is it a better cup of coffee, I like the fact that there's no little pods to worry about buying and then recycling (or worse, cluttering up the landfill).

Fun and efficient

I love the Palmpress! I rarely need more than one cup of coffee at a time and this is an amazing way to make sure I’m not wasting any coffee or water. I love it! It’s easy and fun to use. It would make a great gift idea as well!

Palm Press Revolution

This is my second order of Palm Presses. My friends love them to. I bring it with me on vacations, for the freshest cup of coffee. When someone sees it and asks about it, I usually end up letting them have it. Today I thought about ordering a bunch more. Watch out for a large order coming your way Palm Press.
